National Women’s Political Caucus – Long Island (NWPC-LI): $1125 Award given for High School and College Women's Political Education Project.
National Women's Political Caucus of Metro St. Louis (NWPC-STL): $1,875 Award given for Politics 101 for Young Professionals/Women of Color Training.
National Women’s Political Caucus- South Bay CA Chapter (NWPC- South Bay): $800 Award given for Diversity Education Series.
National Women’s Political Caucus – Tennessee (NWPC-Tennessee): $1,700 Award given for Virtual Campaign Training for WOC.
2019 GRANTEES
National Women’s Political Caucus – Washington (NWPC-WA): $6,575 Award given for 2020 Candidate Campaign Training to teach women in the state how to run for political office. Two of the five intensive one-day training sessions will be offered to Women of Color.
National Women’s Political Caucus- South Bay CA Chapter (NWPC- South Bay): $825 Award given for 2020 NWPC South Bay Diversity Educational Series. The program will educate South Bay CA women on diversity and intersectionality through a series on Intersectionality, Identity, Access and Equity.

National Women’s Political Caucus – California (NWPC-CA): $1,410 Award given for the 2020 Pipeline Project to collaborate with various California women’s organizations in conducting political trainings for women.
Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus (GKCWPC): $1,500 Award for the Teach a Girl to Lead Community Outreach Project to educate young girls in leadership skills.
National Women's Political Caucus of Metro St. Louis (NWPC-STL): $1,320 Award given for the 2019 Campaign Training to train women how to run for political office.
National Women’s Political Caucus – Long Island (NWPC-LI): $900.00 Award for the Candidate Training and Community Roundtable Forum to conduct political trainings for women candidates.
National Women’s Political Caucus – Washington (NWPC-WA): $1,850 Award given for Candidate Campaign Training to teach women in the state how to run for political office.
Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC): $1,500 Award given for the Student Intern Campaign Project and the Development of the Worcester County Caucus to engage young college women to become politically active and teach them how to work on political campaigns and to develop an active caucus in Worcester County.
National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC): $2,000 Award given for Winning with a Woman’s Voice: The Radio Series Campaign Skills Training to produce a series of 12 radio programs and provide a more comprehensive and accessible training for women candidates to listen to or read.
National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC-Texas): $1,475 Award given for 2019 Be The Change: Candidate and Campaign Training Program. Program was co-sponsored by the NWPC-TX Hays County Local Chapter.
2017 GRANTEES
Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC): $1,500 Award given for the Young Women's Leadership Initiative, which engages college students in Berkshire County to participate in the political process at all levels, specifically running for office and working on campaigns.
From their Final Report on the Funded Project:
“Our goal was to build knowledge and awareness and empower women to participate at all levels of the political process. We found that we could reach more young women through video and the internet than through traditional meetings. We wanted to increase civic engagement in young women. We focused on 3 young women and their mentors: a high school senior, who is president of her student council, a college senior, who is an activist and has started programs to help girls at her high school, and a young woman in her first job, our associate director at the MWPC.
We joined forces with the Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative to produce a film that can be shown in full (about 20 minutes) and in short 1.5 to 2 minute segments on a website and YouTube with kids talking to kids about how and why they are civically engaged, how they became leaders and how kids can become more civically engaged. We have already gotten 3 schools more involved just by filming at their locations and have other schools ready to form chapters. Colleges are offering to create MWPC volunteer programs for the 2018 election.”
Missouri State Women’s Political Caucus (MO-WPC): $1,425 Award given for caucus development, particularly in rural areas, a project fueled by the state's severe gender gap in political leadership.
From their Final Report on the Funded Project:
“An incredible amount of time was invested to outreaching women to develop new caucuses in MO. We were proud to charter the Greater Springfield Women’s Political Caucus (GSWPC) in March. This effort is very time consuming and there is a lot of travel required. Several meetings have been required to get everyone on board and comfortable with forming a chapter. In rural MO, we sometimes experience the issue of resources for dues, so we are happy to be able to offer a reduced membership and we hope to be able to provide some assistance with our state convention registrations this year. The women in the Springfield area are super energized and are planning several activities including joining us for the MOWPC biennial convention to be held in August. There has been good attendance at meeting and special events; their officers are all in place and organized.
We had hope to have at least one additional caucus come on line before the end of the year, and we are still working with women in Rolla MO to make that happen. Meetings in Rolla have been productive and encouraging. Once again, this process takes time and nurturing. We are obligating money to help the Rolla women get started this year. We also believe that we have the ability and capacity to organize in Hannibal and/or St. Joseph MO.”
